Russia carried out 145 drone attacks on Ukraine throughout the night.

Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief General Oleksandr Syrskyi confirmed that Russian forces are intensifying their attacks across all main fronts.

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Telegram channel, Russia launched a series of attacks targeting Ukraine with a total of 145 Shahed and loitering munitions drones from Wednesday to Thursday. The extensive drone attack, which targeted many regions including Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, and Mykolaiv, resulted in injuries and material damage. In the southern city of Mykolaiv, at least 10 people were injured as residential buildings were hit, causing damage to apartments and personal belongings. Governor Vitaliy Kim condemned the attack in a post on X, writing, "Terror must stop." Meanwhile, Mykola Riznyk, the leader of the Opishnia community in Ukraine's central eastern Poltava region, reported that the area was subjected to Russian bombardment, resulting in one injury and damage to parts of the town. Local resident Ivan Chaban recounted the moment of the attack: "I felt the heat. A piece of glass hit my leg. The windows were shattered. It was a very strong blast wave. The car was wrecked due to the debris. The garage was damaged, and the car's headlights exploded." The Ukrainian Defense Forces announced that they shot down 85 drones in response to the overnight assault by Russia, while another 49 reportedly went off radar and did not reach their intended targets.
